5 Essential Campfire Guitar Songs

One of the most common goals guitar players have is playing some songs around a campfire. And who can blame them? Playing your acoustic guitar around a fire with friends and family is an amazing experience. So in this video, Nate Savage shares his top five campfire guitar songs.

As you go through the video, make sure you download the sheet music and follow along. The songs you’ll learn in this guitar lesson are “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival, “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond, “Wonderwall” by Oasis, “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, “Free Fallin’” by Tom Petty, and of course we can’t leave out “Kumbaya”.

Choose a couple of these tunes and add them to your daily practice time. Most of these songs are pretty straightforward and simple, so with a little dedication, you’ll get them down in no time. Have fun!

  4. in "free fallin'" it would be much easier to put the B flat and C power chords on the A string so they are much closer to the F power chord on the E string

    It’s awesome how you can play the B with a barred A shape and not bar the first string as well to get a B6.
