  5. Hi Alan, I've been practicing this song for a month now and I've made no progress on that A7 chord. Could you give me tips? I've tried keeping my fingers close to the fret, keeping my fingers close together, but it still makes an unclear sound. And in the end after praising that A7, my fingers hurts too much to take it.

    Isn't the chord you used as Bm actually a Bm7 in the song? That's what I hear.

  9. Hi Alan… I have been teaching myself fingerstyle the last few days and I was wondering if I could ask a question… when you're playing fingerstyle, how do you know what chords are being played if it's only the numbers being shown on the music sheet?

    thanks alan! absolutely the best on line guitar lesson out there! your simple approach to format of songs helps to learn fast and easy. if only the lyrics would  promt on the screen too at the proper time some what like kereoke would help alot. going to other sites for the words is a pain is the ars. thanks again mikey b.
