Hey James, to identify guitar chords I use an app called "Reverse Chord Finder". It is quite handy. I hope that it helps. I appreciate you work here on Youtube. Thank you sir! Rock on! Dan from Newfoundland

  6. Download the *Chord Cracker" app. It'll tell you what chord you're using. Very helpful

  7. I really appreciate this one. My wife's favorite.

  8. it"s my guess that E chord is a Em7/D ?

  9. Thanks! One of the things I love about this channel is the unexpected treasures!

That funky E chord is an E7sus2. The D on the 2nd string gives it the "7" part of its name. And the F# on the 1st string, when there's no major or minor third, gives it the "sus2" part. I think it's the same funky E chord George Harrison plays in "Nowhere Man", in that signature lick at the end of each verse.

  11. Very nice.

  12. You could do the solo with a kazoo at the campfire 🙂

  13. Thanks JJ. Nice relaxing strummer to break out when you need a good stress reliever. That song has always had a calming influence on me. That cord is an E7sus2

  14. cool thanls man

  15. Lionel Ritchie watch out!!!

  16. Matthew Suhrer

Man I’m just always so in love with that Gibson. Oh nice playing too 🙂

  17. 1:40 Looks like a D-shape Esus2 laid over an E power chord to me.
Edit: That's a D7 shape. Duh. Chord Designer calls it an E7sus2 or a Bm/E

  18. Stewart Shelburne

    Love the chord progressions

  19. Thank you so much, once again. I appreciate everything you do for us.

  20. Can really hear how great your acoustic sounds alone . Of course lesson and song is great. Thx
