Enhancing Basic Bass Riffs – Metal Bass Guitar Lesson
This is one of my few bass guitar lessons. I don’t do many bass guitar video lessons because I’m not by nature a bass player, however, I do lay my own bass tracks in my music. This lesson is catered if course to metal bass guitar for obvious reasons.
The purpose of this bass guitar video lessons is to help you ‘church up’ those standard, basic bass riffs. I know there are some great metal bass guitar players out there but a lot of metal has very basic bass lines and sometimes you can barely even hear what the bass is doing. So I want to show you a few ways to add some flavor to those basic bass riffs without taking anything away from the song.
The bass I’m playing my new ESP LTD B-5 which is a loaded 5 string bass. I’m also playing through a VST plugin called Studio Devil Virtual Bass Amp Pro.
Oh, one last thing, at the end of this video you’ll notice I have a quick beer review on Yuengling’s porter beer. Very god beer, I must say!
Keep it Metal!
