Guitar Lesson: How To Play Snuff by Slipknot – Corey Taylor Solo Acoustic Style

At first glance this may seem like a drastic left turn for our channel, but I think you’ll find that this haunting rendition of Snuff by Slipknot on the acoustic guitar fits right in here 🙂 I hope you enjoy the learn… Thank you to Josh for the Kermy!

  1. One of the few songs to make me shed a tear. Great job Ryan. Cant wait to give this a go.

  2. Yeah it took me stumbling across an acoustic Corey Taylor concert to make me appreciate Slipknot’s music. His acoustic shows are excellent. Can’t wait for more Taylor selections.
Also here’s another off-speed pitch for ya, how about “My Doorbell” -The White Stripes, of course adapted for the G-tar.

  3. Goliath Kermy! Cool lesson, Ryan. Perfect for this sunny March moring!

  4. Jeremy Chandler

5 kermies! I sense a problem like a buying to many guitars and kermies! Lol

  5. I'm just happy to report my earballs are getting better. Still tons of work but when you played that Am(F#m after the detuning) I knew it was F#m because walking with a ghost begins with that. I love progress. Thanks.

  6. Thank you so much Ryan!

  7. This is so cool thanks

  8. Just a thought. If you put the capo on the third fret and tune to A440, would that be the tuning? After removing the capo, of course.

  9. First!!
