TABS and Backing Tracks on Patreon:

How High the Moon is a jazz standard written by Morgan Lewis and sung by such jazz greats as Sarah Vaughn and Ella Fitzgerald.

In this chord melody guitar tutorial I’m teaching you to play the How High The Moon chords along with the melody. They are both played together. This is called a chord melody arrangment.
Thus no backing track is required, but I made a cool Big Band backing track, which can be downloaded from one of the links above.

I also made How High The Moon tabs and Guitar Pro Tabs, with the link being above too.

I arranged this How High The Moon guitar lesson as easy as I could without making it sound boring or bland. I consider it intermediate level. I explain every note in this guitar tutorial, so you don’t miss a thing. If you ever wondered how to play How High The Moon on guitar this is the perfect jazz guitar tutorial for you.

We have plenty of standard jazz chords going on, as well as some more sophisticated ones.

If you like my How High The Moon guitar lesson, please give it a thumbs up and share the knowledge.
