  1. Good, do that again….. Youre such a good teacher Rob…. keep em kids learning. Yore knowledge and sharing is what I love about you…cheers

  2. Shouldn’t watching Spinal Tap be the first guitar lesson? What’s the point if you can’t make “goes up to 11” jokes.

  3. if you move you thumb inside of the barr finger and use a slight twist to apply pressure it’s way easier that trying to squeeze with clamping force

  4. Yeah, but is Hannah eating at all. She's so thin. With love.

  5. this really reminded me how hard playing guitar was when i started out.

  6. I love this video so much! I've been struggling with learning guitar on and off for the last couple of years (more off than on if I'm being honest, because I get frustrated and leave it hanging on the wall for months on end), and watching Rob explain in detail to Hannah several very nuanced bits of learning and technique is tremendously helpful.

Bonus points for the fact that Hannah is a woman with small hands, since I'm also a woman with small hands, and I tend to find many of the guitar videos on Youtube less helpful than they could be because they're primarily assuming their audience is male with average-sized male hands, so the techniques they explain don't always work for me.

Please do more of these. I'm enjoying the lesson videos Lee and Justin are doing over on the Anderton's channel and Justin's channel, but I'd actually find videos like this, where you and/or Rabea are giving Hannah lessons far more useful.

  7. Very entertaining and educational. Lovely meeting both of you in Phoenix, I particularly enjoyed the "tiny hug"

  8. if you REALLY wanted her to hold the guitar differently, you should have given her a flying V, and ruined her for playing any other guitar sitting down ( says the guy who's first electric guitar was a flying V!)

  9. This video is a good example for me to get some lessons with an instructor to show me what I need to do right.

  10. The Hank Rots Project

Not gunna lie Rob, I really like the look of the pearl inlay on the maple neck then the black inlay you guys use. Can't wait to get me that semi hollow

  11. No bullshitting, I've been playing for over 20 years. I can play some pretty technical fast thrash (Megadeth- Rust In Peace) and even a bit of classical finger picking stuff (like Dee by RR) and bar chords are still a big weak part in my game. I'm actually ashamed of it. I need to just dedicate some time just to getting better at my bar skills.

  12. If you turn it up to 11, it helps out too.

    Great teaching Rob

  13. Many players tuned down to E flat to reduce the string tension, so in that way of thinking couldn't she just tune down a full step and play the f chord at the 3rd fret? Or play a shorter scale like Gibson or PRS which have less string tension. Also, I learned to play the bar chord at the fifth fret and lower first to get used to the forming of the major and minor chords first then the struggle of the pressure needed to play the f was not as difficult. She played in the lower positions with less difficulty.

  14. I can resist any clickbait but you got me

  15. thanks, that helps me a bit too. I need to stretch my wrist a bit. it's been broken before and since I hit the heavy bag a lot, I probably have to work around my tendency to keep my wrists built up.

  16. Rob you are such a great teacher ! You should consider making a series of tapes on learning to play the guitar . That would be great .

  17. Luis Felipe Morales Arbe

Esto parece un episodio del chavo del 8

  18. You are a great teacher , ROB !!!

  19. FistKnuckle. What a great band name.

  20. Was that some weird unintended porn something?
