An acoustic guitar lesson on how to play the liver version of “Big Love” by Lindsey Buckingham. The song was first released on the 1987 album “Tango In the Night”.

I get a lot of questions about my gear. You can read about it on the website here:

  2. I get that Neon by John Mayer is a beast in its own ! But this song intimidated me more than any finger picking song.

  3. Holy crap man! Damn, this dude is AWESOME! I listened to the intro about 10 times because it sounded so great and beautifully played. There's no doubt that this is going to be extremely challenging for me. So for now I'm going to listen to that AWESOME intro again.

  4. really great job with this lesson, thanks

  5. holy crap i cant even do the picking pattern

  6. I think you are the best!

  7. Tremendous.

  8. Fantastico

  9. Great video. What amp were you playing through in this video ? I looked at your website and would still like to know. Thanks.

i'd say at least 1/3 of the views here are me trying to learn this song…

  11. Great work, man.

  12. I've almost learned it, thank you!!!!

  13. To think Lindsey wrote this song just blows my mind.

  14. Really impressive. And a fantastic lesson. As always, thank you very, very much.

  15. I find for the chorus if you sing (even in your head) the words. "Lookin out for love, big big love" part. It actually really helps. It sounds harder than it is. But trying to hear/sing the words really sets up those little runs, especially the second pass.

  16. My guitar doesn't do that

  17. Thanks again for this, I've seen LB playing at this tempo ~135 but also up near 150, insane!!

  18. Fantastic lesson – thank you (but now I have to find the time to learn it!)
