  1. Great lesson! Actually seeing Donovan in concert tonight, seen him a few times and usually plays this song. And yes, he usually mixes it up on where he plays the same chords, from barre to open.

  3. there is a right and wrong because when you record you need to play higher up so you leave the bass some room in the mix! Also, the technique he uses is slightly different. the upbeat is played as an upstroke as far as my ears tell me. 🙂 thanks for all the vids Justin!
