  4. I don't think Mark played on the studio tracks. That is why they have "studio" musicians. When I see him play it live it sounds lacking and weak to me. No mistake I am not putting him down, he wrote the damn thing. Many greats, Kieth Richards, John Fogerty, George Harrison, Angus Young, have studio musicians come in and do the master tracks. That is why live performances can be somewhat disappointing. I could be wrong, it's harder to play standing up too. But that is why guitar greats like Gary Moore, Nugent, Eddie, Jimi, Vivian Campbell, Billy Gibbons, all sound great live, cause they do all the playing on their CD's. Anybody has got to know that that was not George Harrison playing on Abby Road. That was Ry Cooter.

  12. Great lesson and you've saved me a quite a few hours working out what he was doing. I like your attitude too totally unpatronizing.

  13. Yeah, excellent teaching buddy.

  14. This has to be my favourite piece of guitar music on the web. Perversely it's sounds more sonically correct than when mark himself plays it live. It's the sort of rif that any guitarist can play, but very few can play well. You totally nailed it. Great vid!
