  1. I wish you would jest say what's up. You are really good. But after following you for a long time. It seem that you no longer have time for the people that helped you get started. Danny C.

  2. Okay, so barre and open. If you have a capo, you can slide those chord forms down the neck. Got it.

Vivian had a snow day today, no school, so she did a lot of home study. Part of that is her every day guitar practice and we hit it hard today. Spent a couple hours playing guitar together, but she’s ADHD so every few minutes she had to be reminded that we had goals for our practice, not just going off on tangents.

Practice for me followed hers. I messed around with a few songs from a couple of books on top of that but stomach pain finally made me set the guitar down. Probably just something I ate and I’ll be fine in the morning.

Still no computer because of that Windows 10 update that’s messing up AMD systems. It fried my laptop. Hopefully I don’t lose all my data, there’s at least a year’s worth of stuff I haven’t backed up yet.

I am shocked at the quality of this guitar. I was not expecting much, especially for the price, but this solid body holds excellent tune, has a great fretboard, and a really nice finish. I did not have to do anything to the unit. I use it mainly for Rocksmith, but I have used it for some light gigging. Excellent for the price.

here is the link to it in case anyone is interested:

  19. Thanks a lot, very helpful vid! 🙂

  20. A capo is used to play a song in a different tuning other than standard tuning, without having to tune your guitar. So, it doesn't really help with your playing, just allows you to play a song like 'Wonderwall' by putting the capo on the 4th fret.
