  2. Hello all. Please consider supporting Andy with a donation. You will never get quality lessons in such detail as you get from this channel. Think about it. We cannot afford to lose Andy's talents. Thank you all.

  3. Thanks again Andy! I have been playing it somewhat close all these years but now I can play it right. Tipping a Molson golden in your honor sir! lol

  4. Yes, I think Paul Simon played the intro with standard tuning by himself and the orginal recording was tuned down half key. Concert version can be C key or even Db.

  5. U mean there are actually two guitars at the same time. Oh! that explained why I was scratching my head how to play the introduction for the last n years! Will try this out. Many thanks.

  6. Great as always. Please consider to perform a tutorial on Jack Bruce "As You Said" or "Rope Ladder To The Moon". Thank you

  7. Beautifully presented. Great lesson encompassing the nuance that makes this song so great. thanks

  8. I would love a video of photograph and memories by Jim croce or power man by the kinks

  9. American tune?

  10. There are no bounds to your talent! Thank you so much for going through this one in such detail.

thank you for your great lessons, could you teach us how to play Anji the way Paul Simon did it ?

  12. After reading the comments I think I can say that everyone wants some Croce.

  13. Christopher Selby

Your lessons have always been incredible. You have a gift!!

  14. Thank you so much for your videos! They have helped me so much! I have pretty much learned everything I now from you. Would you be able to teach us how to play ELP’s The Sage by any chance? I love that song and can’t find a good video for it.

  15. The pace of this melody adds a real dimension of difficulty! Slowly, I've been learning the individual pieces and also singing through the transitions. I'm hoping to play and sing this solo. It's going to be a while before I can claim victory. Also, I found it easier to just think of the finger-work as an alternating picking style. Once the lightbulb went on there (with the main parts played by alternating on the C chord and G-note) I knew there was hope I might actually be able to play this. Right now, I'm a little doubtful that I'll be able to play and sing this at full pace. We'll see.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, please keep up the good work!

  17. Thanks for a great Simon and Garfunkel song. “As Tears Go By” by The Rolling Stones is another very neat finger picking song.

  18. Great! Thanks!
