  1. I believe the D tuning is "D-A-D-F#-A-D" but since your performances and lessons are so awesome, you are forgiven.
    Cheers

  2. absolutely awesome. great job!

  3. Well done. Very peaceful.

  4. Thank you for teaching this. I learned most of it last night and will be playing it at church the weekend after next. Great arrangement. Thank you for taking the time to share it.

  5. Guitar lessons should be filmed over the left shoulder ( as we see it ) and down the neck to the right hand picking !! Somebody please figure this out…otherwise it's nearly impossible to see what fingers are involved in a chord or picking etc. But damn great lesson…but please your one of the best….change the status quo and start filming them even better !!! And that Taylor is so sweet !!

  6. Trump ad?…..

  7. Your best yet!

  8. I like the idea of traditional music but a lot of folks seem to have grown a bit weary of the traditional Christmas music. Is there any chance there might be a lesson/tutorial on some tunes that are sort of Christmas/holiday-related but maybe a bit more rarely played? Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe one of the following? Thanks. Merry Christmas.

    Messiah – George Frideric Handel
    Mele Kalikimaka (Hawaiian Merry Christmas)
Thank God Its Christmas – Queen
    Father Christmas – The Kinks

  9. At 9:12 you say A5 and B2. I think you actually play E5 and B2. Great lesson. It's taking me a while, but I'm getting there.

  10. Beautiful.

  11. You just saved me a Christmas present. Thank you!

  12. Christopher Savarimuthu

    Awesome….the guitar and you.

  13. Oh my god I just started playing guitar three months ago so I don't have a super extensive library of songs. Over the next 4 weeks I'm going to try to learn a new christmas song everyday

  14. Damn it Marty and Steve will you guys quit giving these thumbs down on all his videos. It's rude. Whether you like Xmas music or not, the arrangements are always beautiful. Half the time I'd swear it's a 12 string he's playing.

  15. Do I hear big sky?

  16. So beautiful. Cheers!

  17. Very pretty arrangement with lots of harmonic overtones from the open tuning. Nice!

  18. Haunting………Beautiful…

  19. thanks Andy , always look forward to your lessons (especially the Christmas ones!!). Your lessons are challenging and entertaining…you have a great knack to teaching. Merry Christmas to all !
