In Christ Alone – Bass Guitar Lesson

Learn a great bass part to this modern hymn and develop positional playing and economy of finger movement in Eb using passing notes, harmony lines that work tastefully with the melody and pedal notes for creating dynamics.

This lesson is taken from Musicademy’s Bass Song Learner Series which is currently available at HALF PRICE in the webstore.

Since that DVD set we have recently completed the Worship Bass Collection with a more recent range of worship songs.

  3. some of this technique of not moving hand and setting it on an area of the fretboard, just doesn't work for me as I have small hands for an adult, and I strain to reach three frets let alone four. Four is impossible, my finger bones just arent long enough!!

  4. finding it hard to work out what fingers he is fretting and when especially the later part of the song, although not a good style for playing for real would have liked to have seen movement of his fingers more emphasized – hammed it more – so you could see which notes he's playing. In places its hard to follow, but still pleased they put this video on youtube.
