  1. Papa, thanks man! Once you unlock the concept your free to make music…using the same notes within a chord and using those notes throughout the fretboard…I use a paper copy of the fretboard in front of me and so im able to move around and to be able to use the other notes surrounding the chord…

  2. Oh man I love it!

  3. bret what model strat is that? so sweet

  4. This is where I am. Probably my favorite lesson. It seems to me that I can ramble through minor key pentatonic solos okay, but with major key, I need to kinda know more about whats going on. Does that make sense? Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I never had lessons so Ive been faking my way for 35 years or more. Plus my hybrid picking is coming along finally, with your help. It's very exciting, and hard as heck at first.

How do you learn where all these notes are and how do you memorize which all notes we can play over all these chords? Is this something that we need to learn how to do consciously or is it something that should come naturally after a lot of improvisation practice, a lot of practice with the band and all?

  11. For about a year or two, I watched your videos but didn't understand a lot of them. The past few weeks it finally gelled in my head what the CAGED system is and how things fit together. Now your videos are starting to make sense to me. All the things I'm learning right now are nearly overwhelming…

  12. great stuff,thx
