  1. I prefer swagger and balls in Jay Bennet's playing over Nels. Nels's playing is way to notey and lacks the swagger I like in Jay's playing. Don't get me wrong I love both of their guitar styles but I prefer Jay's, I also prefer Jeff's lead guitar work on A Ghost is Born over Nel's style

  2. g major and a minor triads are tabbed wrong in the vid

  3. Really glad to see a video focusing on the playing of Nels Cline. Great licks, A Johnny Greenwood inspo video would be awesome!

  4. The triad, is that a bit off an arpeggio?

  5. I just acquired a passion for guitar. I started taking lessons to read music a month ago. I have been playing guitar over 30 years, and all the scales and chords I learned really helped now that i'm learning to read music. I'm so psyched to learn. This video is helpful. thank you!

  6. First Tab is wrong…

  7. Wow, excellent job of breaking down Nels' playing on Impossible Germany.

  8. Sweet sounding licks. Liked your approach of breaking down the theory. Informative, yet not too heavy and boring.
