Ob La Di, Ob La Da – The Beatles – Acoustic Guitar Lesson (easy-ish – detuned)

An acoustic guitar lesson of my interpretation of the classic Beatles song – Ob La Di, Ob La Da. (to play in the same key as the original use standard tuning with a capo on the first fret). Please note: I have tuned my guitar down a half step (1 fret) for the vocal. You can access a tutorial for detuning by half a step at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5Y7c… Loads more free lessons can be found at Guitar Tutor Man’s official website: http://guitar.freemovies.co.uk where you can find a song sheet for this video 🙂 Please support my video creation by clicking here: http://www.gofundme.com/guitar-tutor-man 🙂

  6. Truly great version. One question though, it's years since I played this myself, but shouldn't it be a C# minor chord (relative minor rather than E major) when singing the word "on" in the phrase "life goes on"? Many online chord transcriptions have this wrong too, though. Or perhaps I'm misremembering. Sounded slightly "off" to me though. Love your version anyway.

  7. appreciate it!

One of the best guitar tutorials I've ever seen! Thank you, sir! Allow me a little advice to the learners – if you put a capo on the first fret and play the same chords shifted by one fret, you get the original Beatles' tuning and you can play it with their recording. Thank you once more!
