This is an easy lesson for beginners. It explains of what parts electric guitar consists. Electric guitar consists of three main parts — head, fingerboard and body. Every of these parts has details which you will find in this video lesson. By the way, in this video Fender Stratocaster is shown. So note, that other electric guitars have the same titles of details, but their location, quantity and presence could be different.

The Head Part of the guitar consists of:
Tuning Key
Retainer
Truss rod

The Fingerboard Part of the guitar consists of:
Nut
Neck
Frets

The Body Part of the guitar consists of:
Pickguard
Bridge
Tremolo
Output Jack
Pickups
Pickup selector switch
Volume and tone controls
