  2. Christian Hidalgo

Jesus, the guitar in the background when he talks is just ANNOYING, turn that shit down

  3. so helpful!!!! thank you!

  4. Oh man… Shut The Fu*k Up!! Seriously, stop talking for nothing and start teaching.

Three loooooong minutes to start this shi*ty lesson. Are you kidding me?!

  5. It's odd that I can do a lot of the more difficult exercise with more ease than I can do some of the beginning exercises 😮

    thanks for the tutorial!

  6. I've been struggling to learn percussive technique for a long time. This lesson is exactly what I needed. Thank you!

  7. Hey Gareth!
since it's the Teacher's Day here in India (september 5th), I thought maybe I should thank you for uploading such great videos for people like me to learn to play the guitar.
    Thank you for you efforts!
    You teach it real good!

  8. that you so much for this video, this is great!

I'm having trouble with the thumb slapping a little bit. When I slap my thumb, my fingers tend to hit the strings I just played a little and mute the strings so they don't ring out like yours do. It's frustrating. I'm determined to get this though.

  11. Ahh good lesson. My slap videos are a slightly different style haha but this gives such a great sound

  12. I'm a lefty guitar player and I haven't switched the strings, so I pretty much always had to figure out how to do things by myself (I'm a bit above begginer), but this is quite hard and I haven't found a comfortable way to do it yet. Any advice? By the way I play the base string with my fourth finger (ring finger, or however it's called in english). PS: Your tutorials are amazing!

  13. 21 people don't have thumbs and are mean

  14. Thank you so much! Great tutorial.

  15. The greatest video honestly thanks so much for the video

  16. What should I look for when buying an acoustic guitar to play in that style?

  17. Once you get into video 3 and start working on hitting single strings, is that technique easier with longer nails? I feel like I have to be so close to the strings and I always catch the string above. I know you can mute but muting is difficult in the middle of a full speed song. Any suggestions?

  18. I notice that you are welsh. Do you have a school or do lessons one to one? If so how much?…. and are you anywhere near swansea? Im doing well on learning fingerstyle but struggling with some aspects and could do with a few lessons from someone who knows their stuff. Or even if you could recommend someone near swansea. Great online lessons though. i have learned a lot from your tutorials. The teaching style is relaxed and clear. The things that seemed so complicated suddenly make sense. Its a great feeling. Thanks so much 🙂
