Welcome to the fourth video in the Beginner Guitar Quick-Start Series. In this guitar lesson for beginners, Nate breaks down the essential parts of the acoustic and electric guitars. This knowledge will help you be more effective in communicating with other musicians, and it will make it easier to understand references in future guitar lessons.

Nate covers all of the standard parts as well as a few unique components that, while they aren’t part of every guitar, are still important to know about. If you play an electric guitar, this lesson will provide you with a good overview of how to properly adjust the tone and volume of the pickups on your guitar.
