  3. Hey Marty. Just wanted to say thanks for the work that you put into your instructional videos. I've been playing for 40 years and find your instruction style to be very inviting and easy to follow. My grandson just started playing. I told him to find some instructional videos to learn the basics. Without consulting me he landed on you!. I guess good taste runs in the family. Thanks again.

  11. Your hat, style, and music theory sucks. Your strat is cool your playing is smooth and thanks for the helpful fun video

  12. Thanks Marty! Been wanting to learn this one, you got it right

  13. Thanks, Marty. I'm a bass player who needed a refresher on this one. Your laying out the chords in such a clear manner will help me shine on the next jam.

  14. When you come back down with the minor 7this, the Allman Brothers played a GM7. Try that. The fingers in a straight line GM7.

  15. really nice lesson thank you

  16. What is the strumming pattern? I’m pretty new to playing and I’d like to learn this.

  17. Nicely done – adding it to the gig list!

  18. Oh boy this one is killing my arm! Thank you for the great lesson tho!

  19. The chord The ABB play at the end of the turnaround is a D augmented (or D+, or Daug).
It's played like this: x-5-4-3-3-x. Marty's playing a D+7#9, which does have the augmented
sound to it. And his Cm7 chord is absolutely correct even though Berry Oakley (ABB bass
player) plays an Eb, which technically is not the root note but harmonically correct as part
of the Cm scale. It's the b3.
